Selection criteria for TVs
Toptenuk.org presents the most energy-efficient TVs on the UK market.
Technical criteria
The regulation for ecodesign requirements and the energy label have been in force since March 1, 2021 ( Regulation (EU) 2019/2021 and Regulation (EU) 2019/2013 ). The new energy label shows the energy consumption per year for 1000 hours of operation in SDR mode and HDR mode. For Toptenuk, the devices with the new energy label must meet the following criteria:
- Energy class F or better (efficiency index: <0.90)
- The data correspond to the manufacturer's specifications.
- The devices are available on the UK market.
Sequence
The devices are listed in the order of their energy rating. The order can be changed individually by selecting "Sort by".
